We just started our kitchen remodel about a week and a half ago. It started out that we were just going to replace the floor with pergo. After we tore out the carpet we decided to go all the way and gut the dang thing. It was down to the bare studs before Jerrmey started his 8 days on at work. He's finally off for 6 days and we are seeing some progress. Sorry I didn't take any before pictures, they weren't much better in my opinion.
