{Santa 2010}

Dylyn was so excited when Santa walked in! She was speechless the whole time she sat on his lap until she told him she wanted painting stuff (a new development this week) and that Dax liked Mario games??
Dax was excited too, until we put him on Santa's lap! Classic picture, right? It's not Christmas until you have a picture of your kid crying on Santa's lap!

{Tree Hunting}

Oh Sorry! No actual picture of the tree. . . just imagine tall, skinny, and freakin cute! But of course with my decorating ability ;)
Just a picture of my two favorite guys!!

{Santa Baby}

Last night was the Winter Dance Recital for Dye n 2 Dance. Dylyn did so well this time! She has been so shy and a little distracted the times before. She is such a poser, I didn't even tell her to stand like this :) Video to follow. . .

{Walking}

{Run Like He**}

Gina has the golden photos of us really posing, if she
would kindly email them to me. . . :)

This is Gina, Mom, Merralee, Me, and WyAnn getting ready to go do the Utah Valley 5K. It had been raining all morning so we thought it was going to be freaking cold, but it turned out okay. We had a great time and it was really exciting starting with like 500 or so people. Such a rush and we all did so well!! They didn't have our t-shirts because they got stuck in customs but we did find some of the medals for the 1/2 and full marathon that we thought of stealing haha. Really who leaves a whole box of those things sitting inside the mall's door?!?! Merralee and I did the Myton Daze 5K, which was pretty darn hot!! We registered for the Neola 5K and Merralee, Mom, and Misty all did it, but my family went camping the night before and my alarm didn't go off at 4:30 am grrr! So great job ladies and I will see us all again at the Longhorn Days 5K! :)

{Dax's Birthday Party}

Daxton's baseball cake! It says his name in chocolate
and has a 1 in the right hand corner. The other brown globs
are supposed to be baseball bats.
(Thanks Kaycee for the help frosting cupcakes :)

He had a great birthday with his Grandparents from both sides, Aunts, and hmm, Aunt Mallary's family! He did really dig into his cake and put it all over my screen door but I didn't get pictures after the start. It started raining SO hard when we were ready to do cake, so Dax sat on the porch in his high chair and ate with the door open while the rest of us stayed in the house to watch from there, poor baby! He loved his presents, and Treycin was so darned excited for those tractors to be opened!

{Dax-Man's 1}

Remember this little guy. . .

Well, now he's this little guy!!

Our little Dax Man turned 1 on the 1st of this month!

He weighs- 19 lbs 5 1/2 oz (10%)

Height- 28 1/4 inches tall(10%)

Head- 46 3/4 inches (75%)

He also started walking in the past week and has done very well. He says whatsat?, bompa (grandpa), light, mama (his fav. word ;), and dada. He has grown so fast! He is such a fun little boy and we just love him to pieces! He rarely has an unhappy moment (that is if you don't count the times that he whines to get up when I'm on the phone) He switched to a cup easily, which I am SUPER happy about! No Nursing!! And he started sleeping through the night when he stopped nursing, YAY!! Love you Dax Man!

*You may think that he is small (Gina), but the doctor said he is following his curve perfectly!!

{What?!?!}

I know it's serious, I have blogged more than once a month!! :)

{Baby Monster}

I know, he LOOKS sweet!
But this is the true side of Mr. Dax, BABY MONSTER!!

Yeah, we're into everything now and all I SHOULD be doing is cleaning up after him :)

{Dylyn's 3!!}

I can't believe that Dylyn is 3! She has grown up so fast especially in the last year! She is so sweet (most of the time :). She is very smart and ALWAYS has something to say or sing . . . and I mean ALWAYS! I forgot to take a picture of her birthday present but we got her a picnic table with an umbrella and a sandbox. She is in heaven! I will post pictures of that a little bit later along with her little playhouse I am working on. We just had a small party at our house the night of her birthday and it was really nice. I made her sunflower cupcakes with a little direction from Aunt Stacey, Thank You so much! And WOW was that a lot of flower petals I piped! I'm glad birthdays only come around once a year!

]\{Dance Recital}

Dylyn's dance recital was May 21st. It was the first time I had seen her dance in a long time because I can't stay at practice with her because she won't do it if I'm there. She did so good! She is making lots of friends but I think most of them will move to a different schedule and she will stay in the baby class until she's 5. We definitely do not have the attention span for more dance ;) I have a video of it but i forgot to grab the disc. I will try to upload it later :)

{Running}

Merralee and I are in the process of training to run 5K races this summer. We are on week 7 now of our 9 week Couch to 5K program. I ran like 2 miles on Friday afternoon, and that is a huge improvement since I have never been able to even run a mile straight! Yay me!! I'm so excited to keep going and to make bigger goals for next year! We are planning to do as many races as we can this summer not to win them but just to finish them. I have now lost 17.4 lbs by running and following the Weight Watchers plan. So exciting! I wish that they would have worked up to running when we were in school and maybe I would have been able to run then. So that's what we've been up to and I will keep you updated on our progress!

{Love Them}

Sandy Schurz took our family pictures this Spring and I don't know if I ever told her how much I love them, but I DO!! Thanks Sandy, they're great!

{Jerrmey's Birthday}

That's my hubby! And I kinda think he's a bit of a hunk! He would kill me if he saw this picture on here but that's okay. Jerrmey turned 27 on the 5th, a day he describes as just another day. I just want him to know that I love him and am very thankful for what a great husband and dad he is to us. He has been working so hard and I know that it is because he takes his responsibility of providing for us very seriously. Love You and Happy Birthday!

{Dylyn}

Dylyn will be turning 3 on the 15th of this month. She is become such a grown up little girl. She takes dance class right now and hates it when she has to go but she loves to be there with all of the little girls. She is most of the time sweet to her little brother she always says that Daxton is soft. She sings all sorts of songs by herself, including Twinkle Twinkle, and lots of songs from her cartoons she watches in the morning. She has a little bit of an attitude and I think it is SLOWLY softening a bit. (Crossing our fingers for that one haha) Look for more pictures of her birthday later this next week.

{Daxton 10 Months}

My baby has grown up SO fast! I can't believe that he is already 10 1/2 months old! I don't remember all of his measurements at 9 months so I will have to post them later. Right now he is army crawling everywhere and no crawling everywhere. He does stairs, pulls himself up to things and just generally thinks he is a big kid already. He is such a sweet baby that cuddles with me all the time. He is a tease though, he likes to make you think that he wants to come to you and pulls away as quick as he can. He is such a cutie and we are so blessed to have him as part of our family. Now if we could only get the little bugger to sleep through the night ; )

So. . . Where Have I Been?

I can't believe that I have been MIA since January!?! Where has the time gone? I disconnected our internet in January or so and so I haven't even got on the internet at our parent's houses. So I am going to update a little bit and I think I will try to update every week. So here we go!

{6 Months}

This is the closest picture I have of Daxton @ 6 months and he's asleep so I don't want to wake him up to take a new one. This is Coy and Ashley's new puppy that is younger than Daxton and is twice his size. His name is Koda and I am going to dognap him one day ; )

Daxton at his 6 month appt. was 16 lbs 11 1/2 oz and I don't remember how long. He's growing so fast. Since Christmas he has decided that he can do push ups and get on his knees and rock sometimes. It will only be a couple of months and I will have a mover on my hands. He is such a happy baby and did fabulous at church for me today. He just started taking a pacifier for me a few weeks ago which is heaven. He was almost sleeping through the night again until he had to get shots last Monday. He had to have his normal booster shots, the flu shot, and the H1N1. He was not a happy camper and since then has decided he needs to wake up 3 times a night to eat (before I would just rock him but now he screams!) So if anyone has any advice on that I am all ears!

{Dance Class}

Dylyn just started dance class this past week and she LOVES it! It will be so nice for her to have some girls that she can play with. They do ballet on Mondays and tap on Wednesdays. She is growing up so much. She is putting more words into her sentences and says that she is a princess. My mom got a huge picture of the SL Temple for Christmas and she always asks, "Can we go to the temple?" She also says that the man on top of the temple is "Angel Roni" She went to nursery all by herself today and didn't even bat an eye when I left. We love our little Diddly Doo but boy does she have an ATTITUDE! Can't believe she wil be 3 in May :'(

{New Years Eve}

No pictures for this post, but we went to Jenny and Kit's house this year for New Years and it was really fun. We had to take Daxton with us but Dylyn spent the night and Bompa Bear and Bama Lou's house. We haven't really done anything with friends for a long time but it was so nice to get out and hang out with Jenny again. We watched the New Year, No Limits and then a whole lotta Nitro Circus. Jerrmey is now addicted to Nitro Circus and we watch it almost everyday because he has it recorded. (I enjoy the part where Jerrmey rolls off of the couch because he is laughing so hard). Thank You Kit and Jenny for letting us come hang out with you and hopefully we will get to do it again soon!

{Christmas Day}

Christmas morning we woke up at 4:30 because Dylyn had woken up and the only people not awake were Jerrmey and Daxton. Dylyn opened her stocking first and didn't want to continue. I really must of over done it a little bit because she was content with the simplest things. She got a My Little Pony remote control scooter, clothes, tinkerbell beauty set, and I honestly can't remember what else she got. Daxton was less than thrilled to be awake at that hour. He got a playmat, walker, clothes and a couple little toys. Jerrmey got up and went to work and was done by 9:30-10:00 that morning. We went around to all of my brothers' and sisters' houses and by the time we got back Gina and Garth's family had gotten there. It really was a fun Christmas just watching Dylyn open presents. Sorry for the lack of pictures. . .

{Christmas Eve}

So, after I uploaded these I decided they aren't from Christmas Eve but oh well. This must be candy making day which is just as fun. This year for Christmas we stayed at my mom and dad's. Jerrmey is so lucky that he gets to work 8 years of Christmas day in a row. But after this year we only have 6 left ;). But, no pictures of Christmas Eve. We always have a huge buffet of salads and dips and appetizer kind of things for Christmas Eve and it is delicious.

{Thanksgiving}

Dylyn and Treycin were stuffing Grandpa full of marshmallows.
I guess that is what you get when you lay on the floor with the kids there :)

I don't have any pictures of Thanksgiving day, but the day before Thanksgiving we always go to my mom and dad's house to make pies and do other preparations for the next day. I love the day before Thanksgiving, it is one of my favorite traditions. Thanksgiving day we were at the Evans' house. It was definitely a houseful with both the Evans family and some of the Parry family. It was nice to be with family and visit. The days after Thanksgiving we made our neighbor Christmas gifts at my mom's house. I thought they turned out super cute!

{Halloween 2009}

Dylyn was Tinkerbell this year for Halloween and Daxton was a chocolate milk cow. We didn't do much trick-or-treating, but we still had fun. This is the pumpkin that I drew for Dylyn and Jerrmey carved it.
