I Cleaned My Fridge Today. . .

. . . And Now There Is Nothing To Eat!!! I know it's really sad that now the only thing that I have to blog about is that I cleaned my fridge. But I truly was amazed that after I cleaned it, it was EMPTY!!!

Corn Maze

This Saturday we went to the Bluebell Corn Maze. It was a lot of fun, and Dylyn loved it.





She only walked through a little bit of it because that is a long walk for those little legs. It kind of freaked her out a little bit to be in all of that corn, some of it was like 10-12 feet tall!!

This is Dylyn with her pumpkins, we went on the Pumpkin Express to the Pumpkin Patch. Dylyn didn't really care to much about the pumpkins but Jerrmey thought we needed a BIG one.

What A Find!!!

I am so happy! Today when I went to pick up a prescription for Dylyn I found these very CUTE candle holders. This is not the permanent home for my candle holders but the best place I had for a picture. I definitely think that they were a great find. Pretty much if I find anything that matches what I've got goin' on in my house I think it's a find, no matter what the cost. Not that I always buy it, but. . . Most of the time! :)

It's Gone!!!

These are the men that chopped down my tree. The one on the left is my Dad and the one on the right is my husband.

It took them a minute but they finally got the tree down. I was scared it was going to fall in the road. The video below is a bit long, so you might have to skip ahead to where the tree falls.

Pine Tree Progress

Today Jerrmey has cut all of the limbs off of our pine tree that he can reach with the lift. Later today when my dad comes they will start cutting it into chunks starting at the top. SCARY!!

Sorry, Sorry!

Truly I did not forget about Mallary! She was a very big part in the demolition and the cleaning of this room. When I first uploaded my pictures it screwed up and didn't let me do the first 4 pictures. All of the other pictures Mallary was on the other side. She does look AWESOME kickin' the closet to the curb!

TIMBER!!!

We recently decided that our HUGE pine tree is dead and pretty much a safety hazard to anyone who travels near our house. It started dropping pine needles a few weeks ago. Now we have a thick blanket of them around our house. So today Jerrmey decided to start limbing the tree. So not only do we have a seriously torn apart room in our house, we have a bunch of tree limbs in our yard. YAY!!! (Sarcastic, if you didn't catch that.)

Well this weekend my Mom, Mallary, and Merralee decided that we should tear apart my back bedroom. Wow, it was definitely a moment of insanity that turned into a day of torture. We were all pretty clean until we got to tearing down the ceiling. These are the pictures after we had torn everything out. So, keep checking back, there are bound to be improvements!

NOTE: If an old house goes to burn down, let it burn to the ground!!! It's not worth it.

Not sure if all of these are quirks but there are a couple.

NuMbeR 1. I absolutely hate it when cupboard doors and drawers are open. It drives me nuts. So if I come to your house and they're open it's going to drive me crazy.

nUmbEr 2. Kind of the same as Jennie's last one. I count my steps between sidewalk cracks. I'm crazy. Also when riding in a car I sometimes count the car lengths in between telephone poles. I know that is REALLY stupid but I can't help it.

NumBEr 3. I check peoples blogs and my own way too much for the span of one day. I only check mine to see if other people have updated their blogs. I have kind of turned into an internet freak.

NUmBeR 4. I really hate to call people that I don't know. Mostly just businesses and those kinds of things. Especially if it something better dealt with by a man. Like car stuff, or where you have to talk to a man about something you have no clue about. I tell Jerrmey that men sometimes just deal better with other men. He hates it.

nuMBeR 5. Dishes. They are my very worst enemy. It's kind of disgusting but I could leave them for days and not care. Of course it has been better the last couple of months since I haven't had a kitchen. Now that I have my kitchen back I vow to be a better dishwasher.

NuMbEr 6. OLD NAVY!! I love that store. I shop way too much on it. But Dylyn is outfitted in the very best of clothes. My worst record on Old Navy is 4 orders in one month. I know it's bad. But my goal is to have the best dressed baby!! ;)

It's Cluttered, But It's A Kitchen!!!!

These are much better pictures of our new cupboards. We have another little set of cupboards by the stove but we were lacking just a little bit of counter top. Sad. But as of now we have a fully functioning kitchen. I'm super excited. Everything is very messy right now, I'm hoping to get it cleaned up and all of our stuff in the cupboards tomorrow. The babies love the cupboards as is, but I'm sure that they will love them even more when they have stuff to play with in them.
I will post pictures again when things are a little cleaner.

Today Is The Day For Major Change!

What, Is that a counter top? Yep, finally it is happening, our kitchen is almost functional. Today is a very exciting day because we get to see the whole thing come together. I have missed my kitchen so much these past couple of months. The up close pictures of the counter top I couldn't decide on which one to post. The one without the flash looks dull and the one with the flash has a big white spot in it. The one with the flash is more what the counter top looks like. Although it does look a little more black in person. Later today I will post some pictures of the sink and everything.

Ooohh, Ooohh!!!

Finally we have some cupboards! Our kitchen is starting to look like a kitchen again. It's only been a couple of months since we started the remodeling. It's definitely going to be worth it when it's finished. All Dylyn said when she saw that the cupboard doors opened was, "Ooohh, Ooohh!!" We are still lacking a couple of cupboards that Lowes didn't have in stock but we should get those tomorrow, and then tomorrow afternoon we can put on our countertop and sink. It's so exciting. I'm really sick of eating out and eating only microwaveable foods, YUCK!! I will post some more pictures when we get a little bit farther along.
