We're Famous Baby!!

We are officially famous. We sent in pictures to KSL and KUTV and we made it. KUTV 2 News used one of our pictures in their slideshow. Actually it gives the credit to I Taylor my mom, but we're both taking credit. So we are way cool! Here's a link, (Maybe if it works).

This is the Dylyn baby in her rockin' sunglasses. She is so dang cute in them. She loves them. She lifts them up and says "Hi!". Love Her!!!

We were crazy in the first place for climbing the hill, let alone going through some of this. My Mom and I were both against it. We both ended up with sick stomachs. We hope that all of our campers and their visitors make it off of the mountain okay.

Dishes with Dylyn!

These are pictures of Dylyn helping my mom with the dishes today. She watched my mom wash the countertop so when she put down the dish rag in the water Dylyn picked it up and slopped a bunch of water on the counter to rub around. Really pretty cute!!

Dylyn's Well Check

Dylyn had her 15 month Well Check on Tuesday. Everything was great with her. She weighed 24 lbs. and 13 oz. She's a pretty beefy baby, but so was her Daddy! ;) Dylyn is doing fine developmentally. She did have to get 2 shots though, my least favorite part of the appointment. She did really well with them, we even went to Kaycee's volleyball game and she did great. The next morning she woke up at 6 with a pretty good fever over 100. I hate it when they get fevers. It continued all day, and into the night. She even spiked to 103.4, yikes!! Pretty much neither of us got much sleep. While I was awake with her though, I realized that I liked our time together then. We spend every second together anyway, but it was a little different when she depends on you so much, and needs you to hold her to sleep. I felt so bad for her. Of course every little temperature is worse when it's your baby, so technically it wasn't that serious. Good news today, her fever is gone and she slept from 9 this morning until 2 this afternoon. YAY!! I just wanted to let my mom know that I am so thankful for her and all of the sleepless nights that she spent with me. It's a little easier to understand now. So I Love You Mom, and hope that I can be as good of a mother as you have been to me. I am so grateful to be a mom. It is the best job in the world!!

Wave Pool

For Labor Day the Evans, Reilley, and Meacham families are going to the wave pool in Price. It's going to be a lot of fun. Dylyn love the water so I'm sure that she will have a great time. I'm happy because I've been trying to get Jerrmey to go swimming all summer and he won't. So now I have tricked him into it!!

Happy Birthday!!

Well August babies, it's your birthday!! This includes Mallary, my Mom, my Mother-In-Law, Justin, and Shawna. . . I think. So if it's your birthday this month, make it a happy one.

For my Mom's birthday we went camping as a whole big family, it was a lot of fun. For JoJo's birthday Jeff and JoAnn's family went to Hollow Moon Cafe for dinner. The food was really good, and it was nice to be with family. Dylyn even tried to pick us up some nasty oilfield workers. Okay they probably weren't nasty, but they were definitely oilfield workers.

Tubby with the Cuz

These are some pictures of Dylyn and Treycin in Merralee's tub while we were camping. I am sure they will thank us for these pictures later. There was barely enough room in the bathtub for both of their little bums to fit. Treycin was standing up and was shivering the whole time. They weren't very happy to get out.

Me and Mallary

This is Mallary, my bestest friend in the whole world. These are our babies, Treycin and Dylyn. They were born on the same day and are bound to be best friends. Mallary and I were born 6 months apart and have rarely done anything alone. We were married to cousins only a month or so apart and then we had our babies together. It's a really good friendship and I am glad that we have eachother.

Bear Days!!!

This weekend our family will be going to Rock Creek camping! It is the 5th annual Bear Round-Up. This was Dylyn's first camping trip last year. We have such a good time. All of my brothers and sisters, and my Mom and Dad go for 4 days. The kids have a lot of fun, and it's kinda nice to get away and just relax. Always a well needed trip. Especially after the week that Jerrmey has had. He works everyday for eight days and usually only gets to come home for a 2 hours a night and then goes back out until midnight. It's really not fun, Dylyn and I never get to see him anymore. Thank goodness for the 6 days off after that! Last year it rained, so cross your fingers for this weekend.

AFTER THE RODEO, THE FUN IS OVER!

I know, you're thinking this is a really good picture, huh? Probably the only one face on of him for a long, long time. This was after we left the rodeo. Jerrmey had to go and check one of his oil wells to make sure that everything was okay with it. Well, when he got to the location he could hear the treater on the well going crazy. When he got out of the truck oil started to spill out of the top of the tank. Yeah, that's oil all over his face. He had to take everything off but his pants to come inside the house. YUCK! Jerrmey had to get in there under everything and shut all sorts of valves to get the well shut in. All that day, the only thing that the well was producing was water, he had enough room in his tank for 400 barrels and it filled that in 4 hours. That's amazing!! All of Jerrmey's working days always turn out to be smooth sailing, NOT!

Duchesne County Fair 2008!

This last week was the Duchesne County Fair. We didn't go to many events but a couple. Jerrmey and I went to the Demolition Derby on Thursday night and it was a lot of fun. It was pretty good weather. Jerrmey had to work late on Friday night so we weren't able to go to the Rodeo. Which was fine because it poured that night. Dylyn and I went with Grandma JoJo, Poppa Evans and family to the Parade. Dylyn has been to one other parade, but was not nearly as excited as she was yesterday. She was running around picking up candy and trying to go to the floats. It was hard to keep up with her. Jerrmey was able to get off of work early enough that we got to go to the Rodeo too. It looked like it was going to rain almost the whole time but it didn't. The fireworks were pretty decent this year because they weren't able to set any off on Friday night. All in all it was a pretty good time. Dylyn loved all of the semi trucks that were in the parade. Before the parade started there were a bunch of camouflage vehicles hauling equipment on them. I really think that was her favorite part of the parade.
